When it's finished being built later this month, it's going to be longer than a waterslide over in the country America that’s about 600 metres long.
Have you ever been on a waterslide before? If you have, then you'll know how much fun they can be! Can you imagine what it would be like to go on the longest waterslide in the entire world? Well, a huge waterslide is being built in a county called Malaysia! And once it's finished it's going to be the longest waterslide in the world! This slide will be a massive 1,140 metres long and it will take 4 minutes to get from the top of the slide to bottom. That's the Olympics a lot of people are talking about because there could be an extra four sports that people can compete in! There's breakdancing, sport climbing, surfing and skateboarding! These sports haven't been made Olympic sports just yet, but if they are it means more people will have the chance to compete and show the world some different kinds of sports! The one after that will be in France in 2024. The Olympics happens in a different country every four years.
